all day long I tell my clients "don't make his (or her) problem yours" Joe and I have been planning to renew our vows next June...now we have more to think about regarding the issue so maybe not. I AM NOT PREGNANT! I know how y'all think :P

I'm blogging from my phone...so weird.
we're thinking of getting I- phones. hmmmm....

I was sick for a week. feeling lots better now.

Mama....

so my Mom informs me that she reads my blog. i don't know how she even knew what a blog was or that I had one, rather. She kicked me in the butt (literally) for my bad language. Hahahaaaa....Mom.
Gotta love her!

another thing, Alissa, my oldest is going through some hormonal changes. She needs to slow her roll if she plans to transition into actual teenage years. Yes! Alissa!!!!

Transformation complete!

okay here is before and after! what do you think? Joe says it's too dark...it won't be quite this dark. I won't shampoo for at least 24 hours, then it will take 3 shampoos before it sets to the color it will be...that seems to be my experience anyway :) let me know what you think!!

a new look

I'm moments away from coloring my hair. It's time to darken up again :) the last couple of times I've tried to darken my base, it comes right out and ends up super brassy (yes, I've toned! lol) I am trying a new brand and the corresponding developer (in a lower peroxide percentage) we'll see what happens...since it's Friday night (woot woot!!) I'll post a complete look =D bet ur super stoked ;) brb
\Muah!!!

my makeup of the day

okay, day 1. I am so NOT a morning person! That being said, I put my makeup on sitting criss cross applesauce on my bed (I don't want to leave it!) Dang, mascara and eyeliner dry way to quick when the fan is on lol not only am I NOT a morning person, I am apparently too lazy to turn off the fan.

The lip choice is really too dark (dramatic?) for day time...I wear nude colored gloss to work daily. I just did this for pic purposes.I really need to start doing something with my hair...

Enjoy!! :)

just an idea

as I said before in an earlier post, i have been lurking at tooons of makeup blogs....I think I will randomly take pics of my makeup looks and post. This is a popular thing with makeup blogs!should I start of with one right now? I applied my makeup at 6 this morning and it's almost 9pm...whatever, I will anyway! lol

**after taking and loading pics, I've decided to start fresh tomorrow! eeew yucky!!

gah!

I really REALLY hate my fucking job.

another day, another blog!

So today I had the opportunity to take some clients (1) to volunteer at another NFP agency. It went fairly well, but I just wish our "contracts manager" would get these guys some paying jobs!! grrr...he's always off talking to people in the office or anywhere around campus, trying to make "small talk" conversations with the rest of us-- it's beyond irritating!! I tell ya! what i hate the most is when he says "hey guys, I'm on your side" omg, I could just spit fire when he says that bullshit. He's one of those people who would probably be extremely likable if he could just be himself for 5 frickin minutes. He's too busy trying to analyze your thought process and tailor his personality around who he thinks he should be around you. So irritating. Enough about work before I become suicidal! lol. As if.

This morning Alena was giving me the low down on her butterfly life cycle project...I love how she explains everything so thoroughly-- she's so cute!
I told her how pretty she was and she responded with "I know, I get that a lot"
haaa!! gotta love that :)

Alissa, my big girl, I can't believe I am the mother of a pre*teen (almost 12!!!) she makes me feel so old! she is a very smart kid and I love her.

I am a very blessed person. I am surrounded by awesome people wherever I go. Sometimes I just have these realizations and I feel completely humbled. I have amazing friends, who I LOVE, both IRL and "virtually" lmao I have a truly giving and loving extended family and the most precious children and a fabulous (and hot!) husband who all unconditionally love me. I know I have way more than I deserve :) I am truly grateful!

A coupla' things...

How open are you with info?
I pretty much blab everything.
About me, anyway.

My BFF is gonna have a baby!!
squeal!!
hope her hubby doesn't read this...he'll pretty much be pissed.

If I ever am reincarnated and have a choice as to what to come back as I would choose to be a man. I mean think about it, while they don't have boobs, they still have total access to them. Plus, once they become Fathers, they totally have the easier end of the deal. Things are optional when you are a man!
Lucky bastards.
Then again, they don't get to wear makeup. Ha!
well, not usually anyway ;)

I am the worst parent ever.

Please don't judge me for what I'm about to tell you...wait, go ahead. Seriously, you're going to think whatever you think no matter what I say....right? okay. Here it goes.
Ever since I can remember my Mother has been giving me this one message. I distinctly remember my Mom pulling my shoulder back and growling into my ear "THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK!!" well....I guess I never caught on. (00)
I KNOW there was a time when I would cringe at the thought of ANYBODY using any sort of foul language in front of their children let alone TO their children.
Oh yeah, I am so going there.

My lovely daughters and I were having a conversation in the car regarding "sack lunch" on our way to the store. See, I buy their school lunch without exception for the simple fact that:
a) it's cheap
b) it's easy
c) no 'forgotten' lunches

for the first few years my kids went to school they took their lunch...they beggggged to buy lunch. No.
Now we buy lunch and guess what? you already know.

Being the end of the year, they are all having one last field trip which requires the kids to bring their lunches. No problem. I can deal.

__back to topic__ (heart pounding)
Inessa was asking me what her options were as to what to bring...we finally agreed on a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a small bag of chips. (She first wanted a lunchable then quickly changed her mind once I said she could but would fore go the chips)
here it goes.
she said "oooh, Mama...can I have TWO sandwiches?"
and I said (WITHOUT THINKING)...............*deep breath*
maybe I better not...
awww, fuck it.
I said "dang Inessa! you're going to be a fat ass when you're older"
O-M-G!!!
I quickly put my hand over my mouth and gasped
she replied "oh, Mama! you're so funny"
wow.
If my Mom would have said that to me I would've cried.
I know, I know...what message are we sending our young girls? with all the negative body image crap that they have to deal with. I know. Trust me when I say this, even if she does happen to be (or have a) fat ass when she is older, I WILL NOT TELL HER THAT. I will simply try to teach my beautiful girls to make healthy decisions. My girls have loads of self esteem. I want them to stay that way. I love them with everything that I have to give. Had I said yes, the next thing she would have asked would've been if she could forget the sandwiches altogether and just have a whole big bag of chips-- she pushes it like that!

Alena told me that I was a sweet and loving Mother after I told her to stay on the side of the parking lot row so she wouldn't get run over.
These kids are great.
They keep me smiling and laughing (most of the time)

My youngest daughter, Naya, is frickin funny. (she must get it from me)
this is the daughter who asked me if Jesus was the son of God. When I answered yes, she replied "well right now Jesus is hurting my eyes"
LMAO
frickin funny.
the other day she told me I was her precious angel...I told her she was such a sweetie. She then told me that I was her 'miracle'
tear.
be gentle.

Weekend Reflection

This past weekend was a total "movie weekend". I went with Jackie to see the Sex in the City movie, after many "sold out" venues, we decided to go back to her house and buy tickets online for the next open show wherever it was available. We ended up buying tickets for a 10pm show at the closest theatre, YAY! we had about 3.5 hours to chill out. Jack decided that she wanted to re wash and re do her hair. Man! that girls goes through A LOT of work to do her hair!!! After she blow dried her hair, she looked something like Chaka Kahn...seriously!! lol She started straightening her wild mane, then got to the "hard part" I told her I would help her. Her hair straightened well in some parts but were still frizzy in other parts. The plan was to curl it after we straightened anyway so we just kept on lol I rolled the top part of her hair in rollers then curled the bottoms ends with the straightener (yes, a good straightener is very versatile!!) When we were finished, her hair was the shit! She changed and gave me the cutest shirt to barrowthen we left! yes, her hair took that long! but so worth it-- she even felt better :) <3 class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">mani and pedis, getting our makeup done at MAC, getting all dressed up, going out for drinks and sushi, then watching the flick. Totally goofy, eh? lol she asked me why I didn't tell her, it was partly because she is so sensible lol but mostly because I hadn't been feeling well the last week or so :(
The movie was awesome! now, if you didn't watch the show THIS WON'T BE THE TIME TO START! People were telling me about the bad reviews it was getting, and putting in their personal opinions about how stupid it is to go, but since when have a gave a fuck about what other people think? why would I start now?! ha!

Saturday night we took the girls to the drive in since a) this will be the last summer that the last drive in theatre in Sacramento will be in operation
;(
b) my Mom will be picking the girls up in a week and a half and they will be gone until school starts! I want to do things with them before they leave.

Honestly, this is the first time we have taken the girls to the drive in. The girls had NEVER been to a drive in movie! man, we LIVED at the drive in when we were growing up, in fact we hardly ever went to a traditional movie theatre... Joe said the same thing! Well, heck! 2 movies, kids 11 and younger free...2 movies, 6 people, $13.50?! get the fuck out!!!
We saw Indiana Jones and the _________, I forgot the rest. LMAO.
It was pretty good, I remember watching all 3 of the other movies at the drive in...hmmm...wtf were the other movies about? give me a break, that was almost 20 years ago *lol* damn, I'm old. I do remember in elementary school this boy used to call me "Indiana Jones and the temple of dukie" eeewww..."dukie" is such a foooowwwllll ass word! lol
he wasn't really referring to me as dukie, just as Indiana Jones. Whatev.
The second movie showing (gotta LOVE the drive in!!) was "Drillbit Taylor" pretty frickin funny!
I was soooo tired by the time we went home, I was driving since Joe had been drinking earlier that day. I was so tired I felt "drunk" (0_0)
Today is Sunday. Joe went to a UFC fight at ARCO, it's just the girls and I. We have big plans which include...tadadaaaaa***** going to WALMart!!! whooot whooottt!!! LMAO
When we do it, we do it BIG!
Have a good ass day, peeps!
oh wait...how the hell do I tell people I have a blog? How does this fuckin work?!!
